Bayside Council has shortlisted the final four entries in the search for a new council logo.
Bayside Council Administrator Greg Wright said they received 78 designs from 40 people before they shortlisted the four entries.
“The concepts were amazing and I think our residents will be very happy with the outcome,’’ he said.
‘’Botany Bay and aspects of the airport featured strongly, but what was interesting was to see how some took that idea and used it to create something abstract, yet still recognisable.’’
The shortlisted logos are on display and residents can also vote for their favourite in an online poll on the council’s website.
Voting closes at 5pm on Saturday 29 July.
The winning entry will be announced at the August council meeting on Wednesday, August 9, at the Rockdale Town Hall.
