Sydney FC dropped into the shire last week as part of their partnership with the Sutherland Shire Football Association. More than 230 shire juniors took part in a three-day coaching clinic at the Harrie Dening Centre, Kareela.
The last time the Sky Blues held a clinic in the shire they had 180 participants. Last week’s clinic was the most registrations Sydney FC had ever had for one of their school holiday sessions in the program’s history.
It came in a big week, when 900 kids across Sydney took part in Sky Blues’ clinics.
