It was not your average car breakdown in Bexley on Sunday.

An unlucky driver had to pull over on Beaconsfield Street near Seaforth Park at around 3pm when smoke started pouring from under the bonnet of his car.

Charlie Straumietis captured the moment as firefighters arrived just as the flames began to spread.

Luckily they managed to put out the blaze before it completely destroyed the car.
