Four men have been arrested after cannabis plants were found in a Riverwood home.
Shortly before 1pm on Wednesday police went to a house in Talbot Street with a search warrant.
Two men were arrested by police at the front door while two others were arrested shortly after.
Police said once inside they found a sophisticated hydroponic setup and more than 120 plants, with an estimated potential value of $248,000.
The four men were taken to St George Police Station.
One man, 34, was charged with cultivating a prohibited plant and was refused bail to appear at Sutherland Local Court on Thursday.
Three other men, 21, 24 and 25 years old were detained as suspected illegal immigrants.
Inquiries continue.
The search was conducted by police attached to the Redfern Region Enforcement Squad’s Strike Force Grassy.
