Cronulla High School is preparing an art exhibition for the community focusing on creepy crawlies.
The Bugtopia Art Exhibition 2017 is being held in the Cronulla High School library on Tuesday, July 25 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
The exhibition features the school’s Year 12 HSC works and also includes works from students in Years 7 to 11. The exhibition is centred on the theme of bugtopia.
The Bugtopia Art Exhibition follows on from last year’s inaugural exhibition, Shifting Sands.
Visual Art teacher, and exhibition co-ordinator, Stephanie Kentwell said the exhibition represented the metamorphic process from the evolution of an idea based on research into insects right through to the formation of magnificent works of art.
Entry is by gold coin donation.
