Canterbury Bulldogs player Josh Reynolds will front court after a boozy night out ended with him allegedly abusing a female security guard and failing to leave a licensed premises.
The five-eighth, who is set to join the Wests Tigers on a $3 million contract, was allegedly kicked out of Northies Cronulla Hotel at 11.30pm on Friday because, police said, he was intoxicated.
At the front, he allegedly verbally abused a security guard who asked him to move on.
Police were called and found Reynolds further down the road at another bar.
It's understood he will be issued with a court attendance notice on Monday for failing to quit a licensed premises.
"It will be alleged a 28-year-old man was asked to leave the venue due to his level of intoxication," a police statement said.
"After a verbal altercation with security, the man left the scene.
"Officers attached to Miranda Local Area Command attended and spoke to the man. Inquiries are continuing."
