St George suffered a heavy 13.15 (93) to 8.16 (64) loss to competition leaders Sydney University on Sunday.
The Dragons stay in fourth place after the 29-point loss at Olds Park, with two Sydney AFL premier division regular season games remaining.
St George host second-placed University of NSW on Saturday in the penultimate round.
The Dragons were also well beaten by Sydney Uni in division one, going down 12.10 (82) to 5.5 (35). St George remain top of the table despite the defeat.
Meanwhile, Southern Power fell to an 88-point loss to Western Magic in division one at Blacktown on Saturday.
The Power went down by 11 points to Auburn-Penrith in women’s premier division.
