Police have released CCTV of a man they want to speak to about the armed robbery of a shop in Carlton.

A distinguishing feature of the man is that one of his eyes is “either lazy or slightly crossed”.

About 4.40pm on Friday, August 4, a man armed with a large knife entered a mixed business on Willison Road.

Police said the man threatened the shop owner before fleeing with a sum of cash and goods.

The shop owner was not injured.

St George police released CCTV of a man whom they believe may be able to assist.

The man depicted has been described as Mediterranean / Middle Eastern appearance, aged 20-30, about 175cm-180cm tall, with a thin to medium build, dark spiky hair, an elongated face, and dark eyes, with one eye either lazy or slightly crossed.

He is shown wearing a black hooded jumper, baggy grey tracksuit pants, and black joggers with white soles.
