Chelsea Holle dreams of tutus and a life on the stage.
Her exams bring her one, perfectly pointed step closer to realising her dream.
“You get tested on a lot of things and that helps you to improve,” Chelsea said.
Budding ballerinas from grades primary to five have just two weeks to go before their moves are put to the test.
Their adage and ports debras will be on show as examiners scrutinise technique and character.
Chelsea and her fellow dancers Dominique Timothy-Nesbitt and Abbey Townsend will take their fourth-grade exam together.
“I love that I get to see my friends and have a go,” Chelsea said.
More than 30 dancers from the Yvonne O’Connor School of Dancing will be examined on Friday, August 25.
