The Cancer Council is urging everyone to get behind Daffodil Day this year- either by donating or volunteering.

Friday, August 25, will mark 31 years of Daffodil Day in NSW with funds raised going towards the charity.
As one of the largest national fundraising events in the Southern Hemisphere, Cancer Council is hoping to raise $2.1 million.
The day has a extra special meaning this year with the traditional Daffodil Day bear being transformed into a firefighter.
The little bears had the chance to join their human counterparts during a visit to Miranda fire station last week.
This year’s theme is ‘For Someone I Know’. The Cancer Council said that by showing support for someone you know, you can help beat cancer and create a better, cancer-free future for all.
People can help by volunteering to sell merchandise on the day or by ordering a merchandising box.

People can also buy a Daffodil on August 25 at stalls near most shopping areas and train and bus stations.
