Georges River Council is currently preparing its first Community Strategic Plan which will identify the priorities, aspirations and vision of the local community for the next 10 years.
As part of the process the council will ask members of the community to share their thoughts, ideas and vision on what they believe the Georges River area should be like.
Members of the community will be able to share their thoughts in a variety of ways, including via surveys, scheduled information sessions and pop-up stalls that will be set up across each of the area’s five wards.
These surveys, information stalls and pop-up stalls, which will be run by Micromex Research and Cred Consulting on the council’s behalf, will greatly assist Council in understanding what are the most important issues and priorities of community members for the local area.
It is important that everyone participates as it will better help develop Council’s Community Strategic Plan, which will set the strategic direction of Council for the next ten years.
From Wednesday, August 9 representatives of Micromex and Cred started conducting face-to-face and phone surveys with members of the local community.
These surveys are available online for anyone wishing to participate.
Starting this weekend, Micromex and Cred Consulting will also have pop-up stalls throughout the local area.
