Random Acts of Kindness

Almost immediately two gentlemen were by my side.

I wondered at how they found me so quickly. One replied that, he had seen me fall, from his window at the station. They were railway staff who obviously must have had some first aid training as they knew exactly what to do.

Almost as quickly a young policeman was by my side who phoned and gave the paramedics information about my condition.

In the meantime a young gentleman had come on the scene, I call him my Sir Walter Raleigh as he whipped of his jumper and gave it to be put under my head.

Two lovely lady paramedics came to look after me. Bleeding heavily from my mouth and covered in dirt and gravel, I must have looked a mess. 

At the hospital I was seen to quickly by a bunch of lovely nurses and a young doctor.

I would like to pay tribute to all who attended me in my stress and thank my Heavenly Father for sending them to me in my need. How many times would people in need be attended so quickly. They were all a true blessing to me.

We’d had a very busy day at several locations in the shire on August 9 when we decided to call in for coffee at a Sutherland Cafe.

We enjoyed our break in the peace and quiet with our drinks.

When we went to pay for them we were told that a young man who had just left the shop had asked the owner to accept his payment for our coffee.

Naturally were surprised by his most generous act and would like to pass on our sincere thanks to him.

We do not know him but whoever you are you gave us a real surprise for which we will always be thankful.

Let’s hope that you feel as good as we did.
