A Beverly Hills e-Sports gamer has achieved the world number one ranking for the computer game League of Legends.
Victor Huang, 18, or ‘FBI’ according to his game name, said League of Legends is an online multiplayer e-sports game where players battle against each other to destroy the opposing team’s ‘nexus’.
He has been invited to join Australian e-sports team, Sin Gaming, at the position of ‘ADC’ (attack, damage, carry) to compete in the Oceania Professional League.
The gamer also had the opportunity to represent Oceania in the 2017 Rift Rivals competition in Vietnam, featuring 41 teams from 13 regions globally.
Selection in the Australian and Oceanic teams were offers too good for Victor to refuse.
He has elected to defer an enrolment offer for a double degree in law at the University of Technology Sydney.
Victor was paid for his role in the Sin Gaming team.
