Hurstville Oval has again been chosen to host matches in the domestic limited-overs competition.
Hurstville, home of the St George District Cricket Club, will host four matches in this season’s JLT One-Day Cup, starting next Friday when NSW take on South Australia.
The Cricket Australia XI will then take over the venue, playing matches against NSW next Sunday, Victoria next Tuesday and Tasmania on October 13.
The domestic limited-overs competition will be played in a compact tournament format to begin the Australian summer of cricket again this season, starting tomorrow and running until October 21.
The tournament starts in Queensland and Western Australia before heading to NSW, with the last game of the group stage and the two finals to be played at Blundstone Arena in Hobart.
The seven sides play each other once, with the top-ranked side after the group stage progressing to the final, while the second and third-placed sides play an elimination final for the right to play in the decider.
Sutherland’s young leg spinner Daniel Fallins will play for the CA XI, while former Sutherland and St George stars Nic Maddinson and Kurtis Patterson will play for NSW.
