Frangipani Gelato in cronulla is turning 15 this week, a proud milestone for any business.
Diana Kontoprias began operating her small artisan shop in 2002 and people have been queuing ever since.
The Frangipani experience began in ocean grove ave and in 2011 Diana expanded to its current location in Cronulla st where she still is the principal gelato maker.
Over the years frangipani has scooped over 30 awards at the Royal Easter Show with gold, silver and bronze ,Frangipani also received 3rd in the Australasian division of the world gelato tour and a special award at the finals at the world gelato tour held in Rimini Italy.
Since the beginning this gelataria has focused on the artisan principles of making the gelato using the highest quality ingredients and then tweaks the flavours to produce a rainbow of flavours that is diverse as the loyal crowds she serves.
To celebrate the birthday and to thank all the loyal customers frangipani gelato is having a special’s week, beginning Thursday 19th until Sunday 22nd October with all gelato one flavour cups or cones only $1.50 – from 12pm to 6pm.
