A Hurstville resident has told how his birthday turned sour when two cars parked in front of his home were wrecked in a crash allegedly caused by a P-plate driver.
The P-plate driver, 21, whose car rolled in the crash in Dora Street, was charged with high range drink driving.
Franky Liu told 9 News one of his cars, a BMW, was a write-off and his other car, a Corolla, was also probably a write-off.
“Yesterday was my birthday and all I got for my birthday is my cars getting a write-off,” he said.

Police allege a young P-plate driver whose car rolled at Hurstville overnight had a blood alcohol reading of 0.166.
The man, 21, was charged with high-range drink driving after the crash about 1.50am on Saturday in Dora Street, Hurstville.
Police will allege the man’s Mazda 6 left the roadway and hit two stationary vehicles which caused his vehicle to roll.
The Mazda came to a stop after allegedly striking a third vehicle.
No one was injured.
Police say a breath analysis the man underwent at Kogarah Police Station returned a reading of 0.166.
The P2 provisional driver was charged with drive high-range PCA and his licence was suspended,
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Sutherland Local Court on November 7.
