The Sutherland Shire once again displayed the talent of its clubs with three first-placed finishes at the Gymnastics NSW State Championships last weekend.
More than 1,400 of NSW's best up and coming gymnasts took to the floor in men's, rhythmic and women's gymnastics.
In the men's division, Shire's Mitchell Skippin downed world champion Philippe Rizzo to earn gold in the masters division. The sweep continued with NSW Academy's Bailey Nicolai taking the top spot in level 6 optional.
It was a successful competition for Shire who also finished fifth in the MAG Grand Prix, a series of six competitions over the course of 2017.
