Participants were literally having a ball at the the IMB Bank Cook Community Classic at Cronulla beach on Sunday.
Beach handball was one of the most fun-filled yet fiercely contested events held on the beach.
In the water, the one and two kilometre community open water swims proved popular.
Joshua Attard and Jessica Madden were the champion male and female swimmers in both events.
Joshua completed the one kilometre swim in 12.50 minutes ahead of Cormac Guthrie (13.01 minutes) and Caleb Guthrie (13.22 minutes).
Jessica clocked 14.12 minutes just ahead of Zoe Whitfield (14.21 minutes).
In the two kilometre ocean swim, Joshua Attard swam 23.19 minutes ahead of Cormac Guthrie (23.21 minutes) and Logan Kaye (23.40 minutes).
Jessica Madden completed the swim in 24.52 minutes, followed closely by Nicola Watts (25 minutes).
The Classic also featured entertainment and stalls.
