It is that time of the year when homes are lit up, front lawns become the set of nativity scenes, and rooftops welcome reindeer.

Each year, hundreds of families drive or walk along suburban streets looking for the best Christmas displays.

Brooke Street in Engadine is often a destination for families. For the past few years Rachel Smith has transformed her home, with a new theme each year.

In the spirit of giving back she also holds a raffle called 16 days of Christmas.

During the raffle 16 days of prizes are donated by Sutherland Shire businesses. Money raised will go to charity- this year it will be Bowel Cancer Australia and Limbs for Life Australia.

The lights turn on December 1 and will shine bright every night from 7:30-10:30pm.

We want to know where some of the best light displays are across the Sutherland Shire and St George.
