A man in his 70s was critically injured when he was hit by a car in the Kogarah Town Centre car park on Sunday.
The accident occurred about 5.25pm.
“A man aged in his 70s was struck by a Toyota hatch being driven by a 60-year-old woman on the top level of a shopping centre car park on Railway Parade,” a police spokesman said.
“The man sustained critical injuries and has been taken to St George Hospital.
“The woman was uninjured and has also been taken to St George Hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.
“A crime scene has been established and police from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit are on scene conducting inquiries.”
