There was drama at Ramsgate beach on Sunday when a man was pulled from the water after falling from a jet-ski.
Emergency Services were called to Ramsgate, just before 4.15pm after a 39-year-old man came off a jet-ski on Botany Bay.
Police have been told the man was on a jet-ski before falling into the water and being knocked unconscious.
7News reported that the jet-ski rider struck a wave before hitting his head on the watercraft
One witness told 7news the man hit rocks on his jet-ski after striking the wave.
“They hit the rocks. There’s a jetty that comes out and he hit into the rocks and everyone just ran out into the water and tried helping him out. It was a good team effort.”
The man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to St George Hospital in a stable condition.
Officers from St George Local Area Command attended and with the assistance of the Marine Area Command are continuing their inquiries.
