Update
Three people were injured in the head-on crash between two vehicles in Royal National Park on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to Bertram Stevens Drive about 2pm after the collision of Ford Focus and a Nissan 370z.
Police said the driver of the Ford, a man, 39, and his baby, three months, appeared uninjured but were taken to St George Hospital as a precaution.
A woman, 32, who was also travelling in the Ford, was treated at the scene before she was taken to St George Hospital with suspected leg injuries.
The driver of the Nissan, a man, 29, and his male passenger, 28, were also taken to St George Hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
Police from Sutherland Local Area Command have asked anyone that witnessed the crash, and hasn’t yet spoken with police, to contact them.
Update
Sir Bertram Stevens Drive in the Royal National Park was reopened to traffic around 4pm following an earlier crash involving two vehicles.
One person was trapped in one of the vehicles but was released a short time later by emergency services which responded to the accident around 2.30pm.
The road was closed in both directions for over an hour while the scene was cleared.

There has been a serious accident involving two cars on Sir Bertram Stevens Drive in the Royal National Park with persons trapped.
Emergency services are attending.
The road is closed between the Princes Highway and Bundeena Drive as emergency services attend the scene.
Motorists are advised to use an alternate route.
