St George have been buoyed by the inclusion of their NSW trio for their must-win round 11 clash with Eastern Suburbs.
Saints travel to Waverley Oval for the first day of the two-day fixture on Saturday needing to win to keep pace with the top six and keep their finals hopes alive.
St George and NSW quick Trent Copeland will be joined in the side by his two Blues teammates, Moises Henriques and Kurtis Patterson.
But the 11th-placed Saints won’t have it all their own way against their fellow finals chasers, with Eastern Suburbs welcoming back a NSW quartet of their own.
Former Australian Test players Peter Nevill and Nic Maddinson as well as young Blues Will Somerville and Harry Conway will be part of the seventh-placed Easts’ side as they look for a win that will take them into the top six.
Play starts at 10.30am.
Meanwhile, Sutherland are expected to welcome back Ben Dwarshuis and Daniel Fallins from their respective Big Bash League commitments with the Sydney Sixers and Melbourne Stars for day two of their clash with Bankstown.
