Two men have been charged after another man was stabbed in Sydney’s south.
Emergency services were called to the Princes Highway, near Keats Avenue, Rockdale, about 11pm on Friday night following reports of a stabbing.
Police will allege in court three men, aged 53, 46 and 28, were involved in an argument, before the 43-year-old man was assaulted and stabbed multiple times in the buttocks and chest.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the 43-year-old at the scene before taking him to St George Hospital in a stable condition.
Officers attached to St George Local Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.
Two men, aged 28 and 53, were arrested at the scene and taken to Kogarah Police Station.
The 28-year-old man was charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He was refused bail and are due to appear at Parramatta Bail Court today..
The 53-year-old man was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company of others.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Sutherland Local Court on Wednesday 14 February 2018.
All men are known to each other.
