Sydney FC start their Asian Champions League campaign when they host Suwon Samsung Bluewings on Wednesday night.
The Sky Blues extended their lead at the top of the A-League to 12 points when they thrashed Melbourne City 4-0 on Friday night.
A double to Bobo and goals to Milos Ninkovic and Adrian Mierzejewski saw Sydney take all three points from AAMI Park in Melbourne.
Sydney FC coach Graham Arnold was full of praise for his players.
“Melbourne City started well and threw everything at us in [the] first 20 minutes. After we addressed some things at half-time I thought we played a very controlled second half.
“All the boys are excited [about the Asian Champions League]. The focus was on winning against Melbourne but we’ll get the boys back home and get ready for Wednesday night.
“We’re in great shape and we’ll be able to manage the two competitions very well with the split round system.
“Everyone is super fit and we have the best fitness and medical staff in the league.”
Kick-off for the clash with Suwon at Allianz Stadium is at 7.30pm.
