The concert hall of the Gunnamatta Pavilion will host Sydney’s much acclaimed Cantorion Male Voice Choir on Friday.
The choir will perform a varied and eclectic programme including a number of well-known opera numbers and some popular folk songs.
Reflecting the choir’s original foundation as a male voice choir in the Welsh tradition, it will also perform a number of Welsh song.
Soprano soloist, Tessa Hayward will sing the evergreen song, Vilia.
Then she will be joined by Cantorion’s director of music, Ben Oxley in Love Unspoken.
Both pieces are from The Merry Widow, now playing at Opera Australia.
The choir has sung at numerous music festivals including Welsh gymanfas and German singfests.
