Grass is greener over at Carlton
The outdoor area designed for Kids Plus playgroup at St James’ Anglican Church at Carlton is looking more vibrant this year.
Children can now enjoy new, flattened synthetic grass to play on. The space was previously surrounded by an uneven surface.
Kids Plus hosts two weekly playgroups for preschool and primary school children at an outdoor space outside the Church, which purchased the grass with assistance from the federal government’s Stronger Communities Program grant.
The new grass aims to make the area safer for children, particularly those with a disability who require special access.
