The Fairways Fundraising Group has raised $50,000 for the St George Children with Disabilities Fund Inc as a result of their annual charity golf day.
St George Children with Disabilities Inc supports children with severe physical and mental disabilities by providing life enhancing products, services and financial support.
The grant from Fairways was the largest individual amount St George Children with Disabilities Fund Inc has received,” Trustee Garry Morris said.
The donation will enable continued support to children with disabilities and their families, he said.
The Fairways Fundraising Group is a not for profit charity that raises funds to support charities that receive no government funding.
The group has no salaried staff and all of the committee work for no pay.
