A comedy night with comedian Tahir, star of Fat Pizza and Housos will be held at Hurstville this Saturday to raise funds to support seriously ill children and war-affected orphans, children and their families.
The opening act will be illusionist, Adam Dean, followed by Tahir and there will be door prizes and a raffle with three major prizes.
The night will be held by the 14 Stars Children Foundation, the non-profit organisation established in 2015 with the aim to provide support to seriously ill and disabled children and their families.
Their goal is to bring fun and excitement into the lives of sick children in order to distract them from the physical and psychological trauma associated with hospitals.
One of the ways they achieve this is by visiting sick children in hospitals where they surprise them with gifts and various forms of entertainment.
The 14 Stars Foundation also offers financial support relating to medical expenses in some circumstances.
The comedy night will be held this Saturday, March 24 at the Marana Auditorium, 16 MacMahon Street, Hurstville from 7pm to 11.30pm.
Cost is $70 general admission and $200 Gold Table Seating.
People must be over 18 to attend.
