Dunlea Centre at Engadine has been gifted $10,000 to boost its use of technology.
The school was the successful recipient of a grant that aims to drive innovation in teaching Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM).
It was one of eight schools chosen from more than 200 applications to receive a HP Kids Fund grant.
Dunlea centre uses technology as part of student therapy and well-being programs.
The funding helped secure HP computers for students.
HP Australia is now accepting second-round applications to help Australian students achieve digital literacy.
All primary and secondary schools across Australia have until June 18 to receive a grant.
Applicants are required to create a short video of 60 seconds or less that demonstrates how receiving the money could help their school become more innovative and assist students in achieving better STEM learning outcomes.
