Updated | Teenage boy missing from Sylvania located safe and well
A teenage boy reported missing from Sutherland Shire has been located safe and well, police say.

A police statement said the 16-year-old was last seen in Sylvania yesterday (Thursday).
"When he was unable to be located, officers from Sutherland Shire Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts," the statement said.
"Following inquiries and an appeal for assistance, he was located in Beverly Hills about 10.30am today (Friday).
"Police would like to thank the media and the community for their assistance."
