Assistant Account Executive

Due to the growth of our client's business, we are recruiting for an experienced Account Executive to join their team. Our client is an Australian owned insurance brokerage located in the Eastern Suburbs of Brisbane, they are industry leading for commercial insurance solutions, this is an excellent opportunity to join an intimate, friendly brokerage. You will be working in a warm and encouraging team.

Providing tailored advice that comes from strong industry experience, coupled with the market knowledge to negotiate, and provide clients the most appropriate and cost-effective insurance solutions.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Provide high levels of service and insurance advice to clients and prospects
• Provide administrative and technical support to a Senior Broker
• Manage client/insurer relationships, renewals, claims and other business needs across the whole spectrum of broker responsibilities
• Preparation of reports, manuals, renewal letters and policy documentation

We are looking for someone with:

• Previous broking or insurance experience
• Ability to be adaptable and flexible within the role
• The ability to build strong client relationships and maintain good client retention
• Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Enjoy being part of a team and contributing to a positive culture
• A willingness to learn and be flexible in a growing and innovative environment
