About Our Client
The client is a leading not for profit organisation basted in Melbourne's inner East. They are looking for an Auditor to join the team as soon as possible.
Job Description
The Auditor's key responsibilities will include but not limited to are:
- Auditing Aged Care revenue to ensure the client is receiving all funding owed.
- Acting as the Department of Health liaison point for all Aged Care related funding issues.
- Liaising with finance / operational staff regarding Aged Care revenue / operational issues in line with Aged Care legislation.
- Active involvement in monthly & regular reporting processes as required.
- Active involvement in analysis, project & ad hoc tasks as required.
- Responsibility for the completion of balance sheet reconciliations in conjunction with Assistant Accountants.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Auditor will have:
Must haves:
- 2+ years of Audit experience
- Attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills, verbal & written.
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills. (pivot table, v look up and sumif)
Desirable:
- Candidate be degree qualified and if they have CPA\CA, that's a bonus.
- Aged care experience.
