OIC Engineering is a proudly Australian-owned Gold Coast based company that has excelled in the metalwork fabrication and installation industry.

We specialise in fabrication, installation and design with high experience covering commercial projects.

We are seeking experienced Trade Qualified Boilermakers & Fabricators to join our Installation and Workshop team to assist in the installation and fabrication of different metalwork projects including Handrails, Balustrading, Screening and Architectural metalworks.

We are looking for applicants to fill the roles of:

1. Metalwork Fabricators

2. Metalwork Installers

3. Metalwork Trade Assistants / Labourers

Must be able to work in a team environment, work unsupervised, take care and maintain equipment, split between workshop and onsite, driving a Truck for material Pick-ups and Drop-off's.

We are looking for valuable applicants , that are enthusiastic  self motivated, with potential to grow within the company.

You must be enthusiastic and have the following skills and attributes:

• A good understanding of metal fabrication and installation
• Understanding of  the use of machinery, tools and equipment
• Ability to work in a team environment and  supervise apprentices ,fabricators/ installers
• Understanding of Safe Operating   Procedures
• The ability to read and fully comprehend shop drawings
• The capacity to assist the Project Managers to prioritise fluctuating workloads and organise jobs on site
• Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to give clear and concise directions
• Own general hand tools
• High level of problem solving
• A very keen eye for detail

Qualifications:

• Specific Trade Qualifications
• White/Blue Card
• Forklift License
• Manual Driver's License
• Minimum 3 years in the Metal/Steel Industry-  Fabrication & Installation
• Working at Heights/ EWP
• Extra Tickets
