Your new company

My client is a well established Security Services company who deliver solutions to customers on a national level. They are currently experiencing growth, and seeking a Business Development Manager to join their Sydney team.

Your new role

Reporting to the National Business Development Director you will be responsible for;

  • Achieving new business targets
  • Increasing the company's revenue and margin by targeting high yield prospects including the acquisition and mix of key account, major account and SME opportunities
  • Building referral and lead generation network
  • Creating and being accountable for client proposals, contracts, and related documentation
  • Identifying and developing business opportunities for security, including opportunities to leverage technology and integrated facilities management into new and existing clients
  • Developing and nurturing relationships with new clients with a strong focus on industry solutions
  • Gathering and utilising market intelligence covering customer, and competitor’s products and sales strategies
  • Closely monitor progress of business development performance, KPI reporting, and tracking sales initiatives within the assigned territory

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have proven new business development experience selling in a contract / bids & tenders led sales lifecycle.

Aligned experience selling services is key, aside from other Security Services the client will also consider Soft Services from broad Facility Management Services, to Cleaning, Catering, Fire Safety, Pest Control, Garden & Grounds Maintenance, Waste Management or Logistics Services.
