Cheltenham and Box Hill
About the Role
Due to business growth we now require an additional staff member to cover our Box Hill and Cheltenham sites. As a Career & Family Consultant in our ParentsNext team, you will be responsible for delivering the program. You will deliver person centered case management of eligible ParentsNext participants with young children, including guiding participants through assessments to inform them of vocational pathways and formulate interventions and create an individualised Participation Plan. You will facilitate access and referral to specialist services and community organisations that will facilitate the participation and progression of participants with regard to positive parenting, childcare arrangements, child and family safety and the achievement of vocational goals and non-vocational issues. Our service will be delivered in a welcoming and child-friendly environment which will encourage participation and accommodate the needs of participants. You will guide, motivate and support participants through their journey into employment or training opportunities with a view to gaining employment. You will work with the team to attract new ParentsNext Participants to the Service through positively selling the benefits of the program via telephone, in-person and with referring agencies.
Base location is negotiable between Cheltenham and Box Hill but would need travelling and working across Cheltenham and Box Hill sites.
This role is being offered on full time, ongoing basis.
You’ll also experience the work/life balance that comes with working a 9 day fortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week. You will still receive the remuneration of a full time employee in addition to the ability to salary sacrifice. Remuneration
A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging.
