Child and Family Psychologist

Your new company

A well-established clinical and forensic practice in Sydney CBD has an exciting opportunity for two Psychologists to join their child and family team, working as experts across several jurisdictions. This dynamic practice is passionate about its staff, lending the opportunity for each Psychologist to diversify and challenge themselves through autonomous work.

Your new role

In your new role you will have the opportunity to manage your own clinical case load in working with a variety of populations. Your clients will include children who are involved in out of home care and family law disputes, as well as adults who present with mental health issues, substance abuse, and criminal convictions. You will optimise your background in developmental trauma, family law, and/or child protection to write reports and manage your case load.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need the following to be successful in this role:

• Full registration with AHPRA
• Master's degree in Clinical or Forensic Psychology
• Endorsement or eligibility for endorsement as a Clinical or Forensic Psychologist
• Minimum three years' experience working with family populations (including children and adults)
• Eligibility for a Medicare provider number
• Current Working with Children Check
• National Criminal Record Check
• Professional Indemnity Insurance
