Your new role

You’ll report and provide support to the Finance Manager to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations. This full-time permanent role offers opportunity to contribute to business goals of the team and the organisation. Your duties will be varied and will include the following:

• Contribute to the end of month reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Daily bank reconciliations
• Preparing accounts files for external accountants
• Monitoring daily transactions
• Inventory reporting
• Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts
• Identifying operational improvement opportunities

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience working as a Financial Accountant (or in a senior finance position)
• Tertiary qualifications in accounting + CA/CPA qualification is preferred
• Experience within beverages/wine industry and exposure to WET tax will be highly regarded
• Ability to work flexibility and demonstrate a willingness to respond to changing work requirements at peak period
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
