Forever Opportunity

We are seeking a driven individual with experience in Buying. This is an exciting role that providing great scope and responsibility in developing and driving the category for Forever New. Work alongside an established design and buying team to inspire newness and a commercial offering for our customer.

Key components of the role:

• Drive our product offering - Design to ensure fabrics and style details are consistent with our brand vision
• Construct a commercially balanced range 
• Work with Design & QA to ensure best fit, consistency of fit and best possible quality of fabric, trim, make and finish
• Drive commercial decisions throughout the development process of a product with respect to delivering the most commercial style 
• Proactively drive the approval time lines on lap dips, strike offs, trim and bulk fabric confirmation
• Ensure a clear and commercial price architecture which drives maximum sales and profit for the business
• Ensure category delivers innovation, speed to market and calculated risks in new trends
• Trade and optimise the department, in collaboration with the Buying Manager and Planner
• Monitor production progress against department critical path 
• Negotiate and confirm individual product lead times with suppliers 

Forever New Candidate

You have a few years experience as a Buyer in apparel and are ready to make that next step up! 

Key Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Junior Buyer or Buyer position in apparel
• Experience working in a major clothing retailer or manufacturer
• Qualification in Fashion industry or related field
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word) and fashion related software
• Understanding and solid interpretation of global trends
• Strong commercial and financial acumen
