About the role:

We are currently looking for a People Coach to support the leadership team and our centres across Southern Suburbs of NSW and Sydney on a fixed-term contract until March 2023. Reporting to G8’s People and Culture Services Manager, the role will be responsible for providing business-focused coaching support to our Centre Managers and Area Managers.  

Key responsibilities: 

  • Work collaboratively with the Area Manager to complete a workforce plan which identifies current and future resource requirements
  • Develop and review the recruitment plan with the Area Manager and recruitment team including longer term resource plans
  • Facilitate engaging and interactive professional learning for centre teams’ resources from the People and Culture team as per development needs
  • Support engagement activities in the area, holding leaders accountable for the delivery and execution of agreed actions
  • Developing and supporting communications which foster a safety and compliance focus on required standards/processes and legislative practices
  • Provide performance support and guidance to Area Managers, promoting a proactive approach to the management of team members and improving performance. 
  • Report on performance and outcomes of the role activities and escalate issues where schedules or tasks cannot be met.

About You:

  • 5+ years of HR Generalist experience including business partnering experience & relationship maturity 
  • Experience working in a fast paced, multi-site organisation 
  • Experience working in matrix organisations 
  • Strong Stakeholder management and proven business partnering ability leading businesses through change/transformation. 
  • Professional integrity and confidentiality 
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills 
  • Experienced in executing strategy and ability to explain Leadership concepts to varying levels/backgrounds. 
  • Legislative understanding relevant to Child Care Sector.
