Musical duo to entertain our troops in Middle East

CRONULLA rock and blues duo Van Hoorn will bring Christmas cheer to the troops in Afghanistan next month.

Model-turned-singer Cheyenne Tozzi and guitarist Josh Mullane will join a handful of Aussie entertainers who will tour the Middle East to perform for Australian men and women deployed in the region.

"It's an unbelievable opportunity to perform for our troops," Tozzi said.

". . . Just giving back a small token of appreciation for the courageous role they play."

The tour, organised by Forces Entertainment, through the Australian Defence Force, was established to provide entertainment to soldiers, sailors and air force personnel on duty in remote parts of the world.

Catch Van Hoorn at the Brass Monkey, Cronulla, on Sunday before they go.
