OLIVIA Wills was named junior levels athlete of the year at the Gymnastics NSW annual award recently.

Wills, 13, was state all-around champion in levels 4, 5, 6 and 7. At the NSW titles she was first on the vault, uneven bars and balance beam.

The NSW Academy of Gymnastics-trained Wills was second on floor.

Her coach Bill Parsons praised her.

"I can see her becoming a national champion — without question," he said.

"She works tirelessly and the commitment she has shown to this sport shows maturity far beyond her years."

Wills' performances saw her represent NSW's level 7 team at the Australian championships, where she was third on vault and third all around.

AcroGYM's Renee De-Belin, Sara De-Belin and Leah Jenkins were named acrobatic athletes of the year,

Leah and the De-Belin twins finished an undefeated year.

They won state trial events, the state championship and the Australian championships.
