Cronulla High School students will showcase their talent in Los Angeles this year as part of a performing arts tour of the US.

A total of 43 students from the school’s dance, drama, band and choir groups will visit LA on April 5, 2016.

Their overseas itinerary includes 10 days of performances, workshops, parades and sightseeing.

The first stop will be Hollywood, where students will perform on Hollywood Boulevard and at Universal Studios.

They will also put on a show for American audiences and tourists at Disneyland.

In the lead-up to the tour they will be rehearsing at school in between classes and during lunch breaks.

The school community including students, teachers, parents and Sutherland Shire businesses raised more than $200,000 for the trip.

The P&C, whose team raised more than $10,000, also funded uniforms for students to wear while on tour.
