A man being sought by St George detectives over the alleged offences of wound with intent to murder and wound with intent to cause grievous bodily harm has turned himself in.
An appeal by police for the public’s help in finding the man was reported by the Leader on October 11.
A police spokesman said, just before 11am on Friday, October 14, a man, 20, “attended St George Police Station after recent media coverage”.
“The man was arrested and charged with the outstanding warrant for cause wounding/ grievous bodily harm to person with intent to murder, and wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm,” the spokesman said.
“The warrant for his arrest relates to incidents which occurred at Shenstone Road, Riverwood, on Friday April 22, 2016, and Eden Street, Arncliffe, on Thursday May, 5, 2016.
“The man was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Saturday.”
