NSW Police have released security images of a man they want to speak to after a girl, 12, was indecently assaulted on a train.
About 9:20pm on Friday, November 4, a mother and her 12-year-old daughter were onboard a city-bound train when they started to get off at Wolli Creek station.
Police have been told a man, described as being in his mid to late 30s and with brown skin, has reached under the skirt of the girl and grabbed her on the buttocks as they were attempting to get off the train.
Nearby police were alerted but the man had already left the area.
CCTV that was operating on the platform has captured an image of a man who police believe may be able to help with their inquiries.
Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
