A man has been charged after a stabbing in Riverwood on Wednesday.
Shortly before 2.30am Campsie police were called to a home on Bonds Road, after reports a man had been stabbed.
When they arrived they found a man, 32, with a stab wound to his thigh.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to St George Hospital in a serious condition.
At about 5pm on Thursday police arrested a 28-year-old man after a vehicle stop on St Johns Road, Canley Heights.
He was taken to Cabramatta Police Station where he was charged with wounding with intent and goods in custody.
He was refused bail to appear in Liverpool Local Court on Friday.
