Four local clubs enjoyed success at the Gymnastics NSW Senior State Championships earlier this month.
The championships saw the top gymnasts from across New South Wales compete in five gymsports over two weekends.
For Avanti Rhythmics Katrina Lai was the star, taking out the sub-junior intentional division after a strong performance on rope, ball and freehand.
Shire Gymnastics’ highlights came from Nikoletta Stadnick who won the level eight junior division after some fantastic apparatus performances along with Bianca Bristow who took out the level seven senior championship.
Zoe Aldrige from NSW Academy of Gymnastics won the level seven junior division after her apparatus performance.
Caringbah YMCA’s Summer Grills and Roxy Langford won the level seven women’s pair event, while Aimee Cox, Alex Payne and Jessie Langford took out the level eight women’s trio.
