Celebrate the silly season at the club

The main foyer of the Bankstown Sports Club will be decorated floor to ceiling and we’ll have out giant Christmas tree set up, and the Bankstown Lions Club will be collecting letters from the kids to send to the North Pole. Our Splash Christmas Show kicks off the festivities for the kids at 11am on 15 December in The Theatre. Later that night, Santa will visit with his carollers between 6-8pm. On 21 December, we’ll hold our special Christmas meat and toy raffle then every night until Christmas Eve, Santa and his carollers will spread Christmas cheer between 6-8pm. Join us on Monday 25 December for some free entertainment and a delicious buffet lunch at either Greenfield Station Bistro or Platform One. There will be carollers from 11.30am, followed by a visit from Santa and a magician. Our main event will be held in The Grand Ballroom where guests will be treated to a 3-course dinner, live entertainment all night long and fireworks on the big screen at 9pm and midnight. The Suits will get your dancing shoes warmed up with hits from the 50s, right through to the current Top 40 charts, including some jazz, Motown, disco, rock, pop and contemporary classics. On new years eve, dance the night away to Bjorn Again, who will play all your favourite songs from the iconic band. Tickets are $135 each and bookings and pre-payment are essential. If you’re looking for something a little more low-key, Basement Brewhouse could be the place for you. Enjoy delicious finger food and lucky door prizes for just $25. Plus all your favourite beverages will be available for purchase. This is an 18+ event. There will also be free entertainment until the early hours of the morning in the Rainforest Lounge. And La Piazza is the place to be if you’re bringing the family, with great food, a great atmosphere, and the 9pm fireworks on the big screen. Cornerstone Coffee and Kitchen is also now open for business.
