Kurnell Community, Sports and Recreation Club has begun running monthly community markets.
They are held on the second last Sunday of every month, with the next event scheduled for Sunday, December 17, between 9am and 2pm.
“We have over 20 stalls booked in every month,” the club’s office manager Danielle Wilkie said.
”They range from a coffee van, plants, kids clothing, pet goods, candles, women’s clothing and lots more.
“the markets are held outside on our tennis court.”
Ms Wilkie said shire residents were invited to “come out and see what Kurnell Rec Club and Community has to offer”.
“We also have a Facebook Kurnell Rec Club Markets page,” she said.
”I would love the markets to grow as big as Riverview Markets at Como as they bring a lot of people to an area.”
Shire seniors are also welcome at the club’s monthly Seniors Bingo Day, which costs $5 for 10 games and lunch.
The club also runs raffles every Friday and Sunday (details on the Kurnell Recreation Club Facebook page).
The club runs a gym (Oxygen REC Club Kurnell) and, next year, Elite Dance school will be holding classes.
