It’s starting to look a lot like Christmas across the Sutherland Shire.
The festive spirit isn’t just limited to land with revellers taking to the water as part of Carols by Cruiser on Saturday.
Dozens of people took to the Port Hacking River for the event including an enthusiastic contingent from the Port Hacking Putters.
Port Hacking Putters Commodore Brad Whittaker said it was wonderful day on the water.
‘’It’s a great annual event that people want to be a part of,’’ he said.
‘’People look forward it and it’s not just boaters. You have people who live on the river that are enjoying a BBQ and even some that throw lollies to us from the docks.’’
The event, organised by the Royal Motor Yacht Club -Port Hacking, returns after it was cancelled in 2016 because of weather.
